There are two community groups in Tameside, Khush Amdid Day Centre and The Anthony Seddon Fund that would like to start sewing sessions to bring their community together.

Khush Amdid meets at Holy Trinity Church in Ashton-under-Lyne to enable elderly ladies to provide basic social, educational, health, arts & crafts and keep fit classes and to promote friendly relations among all communities.

The Anthony Seddon Fund is a small charity raising funds for mental health and wellbeing projects in Tameside and Oldham. The charity is passionate about helping people who are living with mental illness and its effects. To find out more visit
